Taking on Tulsa

From the Philbrook Museum of Art, to the Oklahoma Aquarium, to strolling around Utica Square or spending your Saturday morning at the Cherry Street Farmers Market, Tulsa offers a wide variety of things to experience!

This past weekend, I spent some time exploring around the city of Tulsa. Aside from all of the activities this city has to enjoy, you may find yourself in awe just from driving around a few of the downtown neighborhoods.

Tulsa has the most adorable and gorgeous homes (seriously ^^^)

Our first stop during this quick trip was to the Philbrook Museum of Art, and all I can say is WOW. This Italian Renaissance style villa was once home to an oilman, Waite Phillips, in the 20’s and has since been donated as a museum for the arts.

While you may find a few Picasso pieces, you won’t be able to miss the insane architecture as well as landscaping that makes Philbrook so breathtaking!

Tulsa is in full bloom right now at the Tulsa Garden Center

The Oklahoma Aquarium is a must if you love sea turtles, sea horses, and any other marine life!!

Utica Square is a great area for shopping, eating, or just hanging out. The past two times I’ve been to Tulsa, I’ve grabbed breakfast at The Wild Fork in Utica Square and it’s soooo yummy.

Over the years, Utica Square has earned the reputation as the area's finest shopping center. A dynamic mixture of quality stores and restaurants in an elegant outdoor setting has made this unique destination a hometown treasure.:

And of course, if you’re in town on a Saturday you have to make your way to Cherry Street to walk the Farmers Market !!! Lots of locally grown foods as well as other local booths to check out!

Sooo — head to Tulsa for the weekend & have yourself some fun!

Thanks for the read!!
